Milwaukee Bucks news: So much has been said about the NBA Finals matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics. Finally, it has arrived.
For his part, Bucks vet Patrick Beverley has chimed in on all the chitchat surrounding the seven-game series between the two best teams in the league today. The 35-year-old hasn’t revealed his pick for the winner of the series — at least not in this clip — but he’s dropped an intriguing prediction on how he believes this clash is going to play out.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley’s NBA Finals Prediction

Speaking on a recent episode of The Pat Bev Pod, the Bucks guard stated that this Finals series is going to be dominated by isolation plays on both sides of the floor. So much so, that Beverley believes that this could be the “most isolation championship game we done seen in a long time.”
There will be a whole bunch of iso ball in the Finals this year ⛹️♂️ pic.twitter.com/TlwbEol59B

I see no lies here. Jayson Tatum and Luka Doncic are definitely going to do their thing throughout the series, and their respective second options, Jaylen Brown and Kyrie Irving are, of course, going to have their fair share of iso-ball themselves.

Beverley pointed out that what’s going to be key is the adjustments that are made by both coaches given the similarities in these two teams’ style of play, particularly with their affinity to 1-on-1 basketball.
Pat Bev did hint towards the end of the clip that Boston might have an advantage here on the defensive end, though, with the likes of Jrue Holiday and Derrick White manning their backcourt. Bucks fans know Jrue well, and they probably won’t disagree on that note.
