Milwaukee Bucks superstar Damian Lillard will be busy working on his game this summer. He doesn’t really have any choice after his rollercoaster debut campaign with the Bucks. Knowing Dame, he likely also wouldn’t have it any other way.
Given his extended summer vacation, however, the eight-time All-Star will also have more time to work on his music. As a matter of fact, the NBA/rap superstar appears to have already given his fans a bit of a preview of what he’s been cooking in the lab during the offseason.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Damian Lillard Drops Latest Freestyle Track
In case anybody forgot, Lillard sent out a reminder that he still owns the throne as the best rapper in the NBA today. The 33-year-old used Drake’s Evil Ways track for his latest freestyle jig:

One of the lines that has caught the attention of fans was when Lillard confessed that his “life (is) in shambles.” His next bar described how he is “married to the game” and “had to leave the bride.”
This appears to be a reference to his high-profile divorce from his estranged wife, Kayla Lillard, which quickly turned into a custody battle for their kids. This has clearly taken a toll on Dame’s personal life, and it seems that the battle — both in and outside of court — is still an ongoing process for the Bucks star.
