On the court, two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is a monster most teams cannot conquer. But in a new ad for Starry, the Milwaukee Bucks star lets his hair down, much to the joy of fans online.
Born in Athens to Nigerian parents, Antetokounmpo began his basketball career with the youth teams of Filathlitikos before being selected 15th overall by the Bucks in the 2013 NBA draft.
Since joining the Bucks, Antetokounmpo has become a dominant force in the league. In 2016-17, he became the first player in NBA history to finish a regular season in the top 20 in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. He has been named an NBA All-Star eight times, including being selected as an All-Star captain in 2019, 2020, 2023, and 2024.
Antetokounmpo’s accolades include winning the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in 2019 and 2020, the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2020, and the NBA Finals MVP in 2021 after leading the Bucks to their first championship since 1971. He was also named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021, further cementing his status as one of the greatest players in NBA history.

Unlike his competitive nature on the court, the Greek Freak has been known to crack jokes every now and then. The latest from the Bucks’ star can be seen in a Starry ad shared on Antetokounmpo’s official account on X.

For quite some time now, Antetokoumpo has cracked jokes of the dad nature, especially when facing reporters. His latest ad is based on this, which left a lot of fans on social media in stitches.
“Milwaukee bucks goat 🐐,” Fish Middleton tweeted.
“Cringe run and dunk man,” A5 posted.
“Lmfao yessss 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 love this Giannis,” Trent reacted.
“U so corny,” ScottieFan2 shared.
“😂😂😂😂😂 goat,” Freakement said.
Antetokounmpo is set to play for Greece in the upcoming Olympic Qualifying Tournament. After that, the All-Star forward will prepare for the upcoming season to help the Bucks compete.
With this latest ad from Starry, it looks like the Greek star isn’t going to slow down when it comes to his trademark jokes. In any case, fans will get to see him more, especially when the NBA returns later this season.
