In a way, Giannis Antetokounmpo knows a thing or two about what makes winning so special. As such, the Milwaukee Bucks star made sure to congratulate Erling Haaland after Manchester City’s big Premier League win and the incredible season he just had.
Just recently, Manchester City won the Premier League for the fourth consecutive year when they defeated West Ham in a 3-1 victory. During the game, Phil Foden scored a pair of goals while Rodri drained one to help seal the win for their team.
Although Mohammed Kudus’ overhead goal in the first half almost gave West Ham the momentum, Manchester City took it back until very end of the game. To ensure their victory, Rodri’s low strike that resulted in the team’s third goal all but buried their opponents. In the end, City went home with another title to add to their growing collection.
As it stands, Manchester City’s triumph the sixth Premier League title manage Pep Gardiola has won in eight seasons. On the other hand, David Moyes’ stint as West Ham’s manager has now ended after he announced a break from football.

After the game, various personalities congratulated Manchester City and its players for winning the Premier League. Among those who greeted forward Erling Haaland is no other than Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

“Erling, I just want to say congratulations on another amazing season. You’ve been incredible, winning the Premier League again and also winning the Golden Boot. That’s unbelievable. Keep on getting better. I love the mentality that you have. You always go out there and try to do whatever is best for your team to win. I just love watching you play,” Antetokounmpo said.
The Greek Freak is a football fan and has revealed himself to be an Arsenal fan growing up. Furthermore, Antetokounmpo admitted that his late father used to play the sport on a regular basis when he was a child.
With the Premier League season done, Antetokounmpo will soon set his sights on the upcoming 2024 Olympics as part of Greece’s national team. After that, the new NBA season will commence later this year as the Bucks prepare to contend for another ring again.
