Kylian Mbappe recently made waves when the soccer superstar chose to leave Paris Saint-Germain and sign up with Real Madrid instead. Turns out, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo got some jokes about his decision to switch teams.
Real Madrid has officially announced the signing of Mbappé, bringing an end to a prolonged transfer saga. The French national has joined the team on a five-year contract. He who holds the record for the highest number of goals scored for PSG, will join forces with players such as Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham, creating the potential for an unbeatable team in Madrid.

Mbappé said that joining Real Madrid is a dream come true for him. The 25-year-old forward’s move to Madrid has been long-anticipated, with rumors swirling even before he signed a contract extension with PSG in 2022.
Real Madrid, known for its remarkable success in the Champions League by winning the tournament six times in the last decade, will provide Mbappé the potential to pursue his ambitions. The transfer fee for Mbappé’s move from Monaco to PSG in 2017 was a reported $214 million, making him the second most expensive player in the world.

Like Antetokounmpo, Mbappe is also a fan of the Greek Freak and revealed where he is in his list of top five players. And even though the Bucks superstar hasn’t made it far in the playoffs since winning the championship, he has remained one of the league’s most potent forces on both ends of the court.

It remains to be seen how Mbappe’s time with Real Madrid will go down. Nevertheless, expect Antetokounmpo to stay tuned to the soccer star’s career moving forward.
