The Milwaukee Bucks keep on rolling, as they thwarted the Philadelphia 76ers at home on Sunday night, 123-109. It was the Bucks’ fourth win in a row.
Even more notable is the fact that Bucks star Damian Lillard became the newest member of the 22,000-point club in the NBA during the Sixers game.
Lillard entered the meeting with Philly with 21,976 career points and ended the day as the 38th player in league history to score at least 22,000 regular-season points, as he torched Philly with 25 points on 7-for-17 shooting from the floor to go with five rebounds and four assists in 40 minutes.
The Bucks made sure to let everyone know about Lillard’s milestone with a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“22,000 points and counting. It’s been Dame Time for a long time,” the post read.

Damian Lillard, Milwaukee Bucks crush for the second time in the 2024-25 NBA season

Sunday’s Milwaukee win over the Sixers was the Bucks’ second this season against Philly. It can be recalled that the Bucks took down Philly on Oct. 23 on the road, 124-109. Lillard led the Bucks then with 30 points on 9-for-19 shooting from the field.
The Bucks are now fourth in the Eastern Conference standings with a 24-17 record – still 11 games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Up next for Milwaukee is a road game on Wednesday versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
