Milwaukee Bucks news: The 2024 NBA Playoffs have proven to be a stage for the rise of the young superstars in the league. At this point, it’s Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks who are battling for a spot in the Western Conference Finals against Anthony Edwards and the surging Minnesota Timberwolves. The East, on the other hand, features Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics taking on Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers.
For his part, Damian Lillard has been a spectator of some great basketball now that the Bucks are no longer in playoff contention. Dame, however, recently posed a compelling question about one seemingly forgotten young superstar.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Damian Lillard Has a Valid Ja Morant Question
Lillard recently came across a list of the 25 best players in the NBA under the age of 25. While there weren’t too many surprises on the superstar-studded list, Dame appears to have taken exception with the fact that Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant is listed all the way down at the 10th spot:

Morant barely even made the Top 10 as he was listed at 10th tied with Zion Williamson, which in itself is probably another dubious ranking.
Lillard didn’t have much to say about the list, save for appearing to question why Morant had fallen so significantly in the rankings.
Ja’s troubles off the court have likely played a significant role here. The 24-year-old played just nine games this season after serving a lengthy league-sanctioned suspension for brandishing a firearm on social media (for a second time). The two-time All-Star then suffered a season-ending shoulder injury upon his return, thereby putting an abrupt end to a completely forgettable campaign.
It seems that Lillard hasn’t forgotten about what Morant brings to the table, though, and the Bucks veteran appears to be anticipating a comeback from the troubled Grizzlies point guard in the not-so-distant future.
