Milwaukee Bucks Guard Damian Lillard Teases Dame D.O.L.L.A. Return With Epic Collab
Although the NBA hasn’t returned yet, Lillard has kept himself busy for the past few months. Apart from conducting his Formula Zero training camp for hoopers, the All-Star guard also teased Dame D.O.L.L.A. return with an epic collab, in an article written by Cody Smith for Sports Illustrated.
“My favorite collab so far, I gotta say Lil Wayne,” Lillard shared. “The first time I got with Wayne, it was actually somebody who reached out to me for him because they said, ‘You know he wanted to do something with you because he likes how you don’t try to rap like a rapper. He can tell you’re just rapping like you,’ so we connected like that. Me and Wayne have so many songs together that haven’t even been released because everything I send him, he does it and just sends it right back. There’s a bunch of sh*t that we haven’t put out. I actually went to the studio with him, and being able to see it, I was like ‘damn.’”
Lil Wayne is an American rapper regarded as one of the most influential hip hop artists of his generation. Born in New Orleans, he was discovered by Birdman in 1993 and signed to Cash Money Records at age 11. Dame’s combination of elite basketball skill and musical talent has made him a unique and well-rounded athlete in the NBA. His on-court accomplishments and off-court creative pursuits have cemented his status as one of the league’s most compelling and versatile stars.
