In all likelihood, the famed deals between Houston and Milwaukee never see the light of day. But should this season start heading south for the Rockets, they can certainly work the trade market, as they always have.
Green is entering a pivotal fourth year with the Rockets, following a season where he averaged 19.6 points per game. Despite showing flashes of All-Star potential, inconsistency remains a concern.
With the Rockets drafting guard Reed Sheppard, Green faces increased pressure to solidify his role as a franchise cornerstone.
