On the court, veteran forward Bobby Portis has won the hearts and minds of fans due to the passion he has for the game. Off the court, though, that same love extends via various events he has organized for fans. However, the Milwaukee Bucks star had to cancel one recently due to uncontrollable circumstances.
Portis entered the league when was selected in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls, with whom he played for four seasons. He then had stints with the Washington Wizards and New York Knicks before joining the Milwaukee Bucks in 2020.

During his college career at the University of Arkansas, Portis was a standout player, earning consensus second-team All-American honors as a sophomore in 2015 and being named the SEC Player of the Year. He was considered one of the top players in college basketball at the time and a likely first-round draft pick.
In the NBA, Portis has continued to be a productive player, contributing both as a starter and off the bench. He has averaged double-digit points per game in multiple seasons and has been a valuable contributor to his teams. In 2021, he won an NBA championship with a Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Bucks team, adding to his basketball resume.

The Bucks star established his own foundation to support communities in Arkansas and Wisconsin, particularly single-parent families. Drawing from his own upbringing, the said foundation aims to provide assistance and resources to those facing financial challenges, creating meaningful impact through ongoing initiatives and charitable efforts.
At this point in time, it’s not yet known when the kickball event will take place. Hopefully, the Bucks forward can get it going in the soonest time possible while the NBA hasn’t returned yet.
