News came out on Monday that Patrick Beverley was on the brink of leaving the Milwaukee Bucks amid a “historic” offer from an undisclosed team. On Tuesday, it was confirmed that the two-time All-Defensive guard is now on his way out of Milwaukee — and the NBA altogether — after accepting a massive offer from Israeli outfit Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Apparently, Beverley turned down at least two contract offers in the NBA.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley Rejected Offers From Pistons, Rockets

According to a report by NBACentral on X, formerly Twitter, Beverley rejected free agency offers from the Detroit Pistons and the Houston Rockets.
“Patrick Beverley reportedly turned down veteran minimum contract offers from the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets to sign with Hapoel Tel Aviv, per @Tsaltas46,” read the report.
This aligns with initial reports indicating that Beverley was choosing between a “historic” offer from abroad and a veteran’s minimum contract in the NBA. We now know that these offers came from Detroit and Houston.

No Offer From Milwaukee?

Interestingly enough, it does not appear that the Bucks even made an offer for Beverley. The above report mentioned the two teams that placed a bid for the feisty guard, and Milwaukee was not one of them.
Beverley wasn’t exactly an integral member of the squad last season, but he did bring a lot to the table. As it turns out, however, this did not seem to be enough for the Bucks front office to consider bringing him back for another year — not even on a vet’s minimum deal.
