Milwaukee Bucks news: To say that Caitlin Clark has taken the basketball world by storm would be an understatement. Despite the fact that the Indiana Fever have started the new season at 2-9, the fact still remains that Clark has made a tremendous impact not only on the league but on women’s basketball in general.
For his part, Bucks veteran Patrick Beverley firmly believes that this is only the beginning of what’s to come from this young lady.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley Agrees With Caitlin Clark-Michael Jordan Comparison
Former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas was the guest on the latest episode of Beverley’s The Pat Bev Pod. Naturally, they just had to discuss one of the hottest topics in the basketball world today.
According to Arenas, Clark has had a Michael Jordan-like impact on the WNBA not exactly because she’s at the same level as the GOAT skill-wise, but because of the massive effect she’s had and will have on the league:

Both Beverley and Arenas pointed out, though, that the WNBA just isn’t ready for the Clark wave, though. Adjustments will need to be made — just like how the NBA transitioned when Jordan came into the picture many years ago.
Pat Bev also believes that the physical abuse Clark has been taking will ultimately be good for her in that this will force her to be a better player. The Bucks vet also knows, however, that the WNBA will need to step in at some point.
