The Milwaukee Bucks are in the midst of yet another great season.  As we enter the NBA All-Star weekend the Bucks are riding a 12-game winning streak and currently sit at 41-17 on the season.  They are 0.5 games back of the Boston Celtics for the number-one seed in the eastern conference.  As the NBA All-Star weekend kicked off, Adrain Wojnarowski had a major announcement regarding the Milwaukee Bucks.

    Bucks News 1

Per Adrian Wojnarowski The Milwaukee Bucks Want To Host The NBA All-Star Weekend

    Per Adrian Wojnarowski:

ESPN Sources: The Milwaukee Bucks are submitting bids to host either the 2025 or 2026 All-Star Game at Fiserv Forum. Fiserv opened in 2018. Indiana will host the 2024 game.
The Milwaukee Bucks have hosted the NBA All-Star weekend once, that came in 1977.  The Milwaukee Bucks saw two players make the All-Star Team during the 2022-23 season.  Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday both represented Milwaukee this year.  Having the NBA All-Star Weekend in Milwaukee would be huge for the economy and recognition of the great city.  Should Milwaukee get the bid, this is what the schedule of events may look like:

2022-23 NBA All-Star Weekend Schedule Of Events

    Friday, Feb. 17

    • NBA All-Star Celebrity Game – 7 p.m. on ESPN
    • Jordan Rising Stars – 9 p.m. on TNT

    Saturday, Feb. 18

    • NBA x HBCU Classic – 3 p.m. on TNT
    • Sate Farm All-Star Saturday Night – 7 p.m. on TNT
      • Kia Skills Challenge
      • Starry 3-Point Contest
      • AT&T Slam Dunk

    Sunday, Feb. 19

    • NBA G-League Next-Up Game – 3 p.m. on NBA TV
    • All-Star Draft – 7:30 p.m. on TNT
    • 72nd NBA All-Star Game – 8:30 p.m. on TNT

There were plenty of reactions to the Milwaukee Bucks possibly hosting the NBA All-Star Weekend:

I’ve been to numerous “top tier”’ cities. Denver, Chicago, Boston, San Diego, goes on. Milwaukee is seriously on the up and is pretty cool. They did a lot near Fiserv Forum. Those talkin shit clearly have not been to MKE, especially not recently.
