Just like many Las Vegas Raiders fans, Milwaukee Bucks star point guard Damian Lillard was left shaking his head again over what transpired on the field of Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. Lillard watched the Raiders get embarrassed by the previously winless Carolina Panthers, 36-22.
Las Vegas Raiders leave Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard disappointed again

Lillard posted a message on X (formerly Twitter) that read “Smh.” Although he did not specify what he referring to, it was easy to tell that it was about the Raiders losing their first home game of the season versus the Andy Dalton-led Panthers.
Lillard also later wrote “Sad” in a separate post as a reaction to an X user who asked him about the Panthers-Raiders game.
The Panthers entered Week 3 with a 0-2 record and had just decided on benching struggling quarterback Bryce Young for Dalton. That seemingly turned out to be a great decision by Carolina, as Dalton repeatedly sliced through Las Vegas’ defense. Dalton completed 26 of his 37 throws for 319 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero picks. Carolina had scored just 13 points in its previous two outings but looked like a competent offense opposite the Raiders, who got outgained in the game by over 100 yards.

Perhaps Lillard will see better results from the Panthers in Week 4, as Las Vegas is scheduled to host the Cleveland Browns.
Meanwhile, Lillard and the Bucks will soon ramp up their preparation for the 2024-25 NBA season. The Bucks, who had a frustrating first-round exit in the last playoffs, are scheduled to kick off their new campaign on Oct. 23 with a road game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
