The Milwaukee Bucks have won seven of their last eight games. During their 123-109 victory against the Philadelphia Sixers last Sunday, Damian Lillard showed off his offensive bag.
Lillard finished the game with 25 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four three-pointers. He went 7-for-17 from the field and shot a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line.
The eight-time NBA All-Star also became the 38th player in NBA history and one of the eight active players to reach 22,000 career points.
As things stand, Lillard averages 25.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game on 45/39/92 shooting splits. He has scored at least 25 points in six of his last eight appearances.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Doc Rivers calls Damian Lillard’s range “scary”
During the postgame interview, Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said he will continue to give Damian Lillard the full green light because of his uncanny ability to shoot from deep.
“Dame’s range when you think about his size, and how deep he can shoot it, it’s easy for him, it’s pretty amazing,” Rivers said. “Scary. Him and Brook (Lopez), I think they are having a competition, who can make the furthest three. They both shoot them easy.”
The Milwaukee Bucks need another solid performance from Damian Lillard when they face the New Orleans Pelicans for the first time this year.
