The Milwaukee Bucks will have two picks in the 2024 NBA Draft. They will own the 23rd overall pick in the draft in the first round and then Milwaukee will have a second-round selection as well.
For a team that is looking for youth, this is a very good chance for General Manager Jon Horst to make some moves for the long haul. The Milwaukee Bucks should not trade those selections and should keep them. With the NBA Draft lottery taking place on Sunday afternoon, many mock drafts took place after that.

There are many questions as to what the Bucks should do or what they should select in the 2024 NBA Draft. What does a recent mock draft have Milwaukee taking in the draft?
Yahoo Sports Krysten Peek Has the Milwaukee Bucks Drafting Forward Pacome Dadiet 23rd Overall In the 2024 NBA Draft

In the latest NBA Mock Draft, Yahoo Sports Krysten Peek has the Bucks drafting forward Pacome Dadiet from Ratiopharm Ulm from Germany. This is an international prospect who is 6’8″ and weighs 210 lbs. Peek wrote as to why the Bucks would make this selection with the 23rd overall pick by saying:
“The Bucks have the luxury of drafting a player based on high upside, and Dadiet, turning 19 in July, screams NBA potential with the jump he’s made playing for Ratiopharm Ulm this season. He has scored in double digits in his last two games and shows promising signs as a 3-and-D player at the next level.”
Pacome Dadiet played in 32 games for Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany. In those games, he only averaged 6.8 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 0.7 APG, 0.1 BPG, and 0.4 SPG. Dadiet shot 49.6% from the field and also shot 36.0% from three-point land. Dadiet also shot 78.7% from the free-throw line.

Some of the scouting report on nbadraftroom.com about Dadiet is as follows:
“Dadiet is a high energy wing who impacts both ends of the court and all aspects of the game. Has a NBA level frame and athleticism and is just scratching the surface of his potential. Makes good decisions with the ball and has a high feel for the game. Plays with great energy on defense and runs the floor hard. Does all the dirty work. A capable 3pt shooter who can hit the open shot but still has room to grow. Has some creativity with the ball and finishes well in the lane.”
This would not be the first time that the Milwaukee Bucks would be taking a swing on an international prospect. They did it with Giannis Antetokounmpo from Greece in 2013 and look at how it turned out for them. Pacome Dadiet could no doubt be a prospect worth taking a swing on, but there are other teams during the NBA Draft process that might take him earlier because of his potential in the NBA.
