It has been 17 days since the Milwaukee Bucks traded three-time All-Star Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma. While many fans saw the trade coming due to Middleton’s recent injury history and decline in play, it was an emotional parting of ways. After all, he had been a part of the Bucks organization for 12 years and had played a major role in brining an NBA Championship to Milwaukee for the first time in 50 years.
But, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. And the Bucks have been playing well since the trade, winning five of the seven games they have played since it happened. The Wizards, meanwhile, have continued to struggle, and Middleton has only appeared in two games for them.
The first, of course, was against Milwaukee in the Bucks’ second game following the All-Star Break. The second came on Saturday night, and saw the Milwaukee legend get into an uncharacteristic altercation.
Former Milwaukee Bucks Star Khris Middleton Gets Into It with the Brooklyn Nets Bench in Washington Wizards Win
Middleton and the Wizards took on the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night, defeating them 107-99 to improve to 10-47 on the season. The former Bucks star played 26 minutes, but had only seven points, three rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block.
But it was his interaction with Tyrese Martin and the Nets bench that had him going viral on social media:

It has not yet been reported what the cause of the altercation was.
Of course, Middleton has a history of being a serious rival of the Nets, especially from the 2021 Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, which went a full seven games. In that series, the former Bucks three-time All-Star averaged 24.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 41/37/86 from the floor.
Fans were surprised to get Middleton so heated because he has always been such a level-headed player. They are convinced that Martin or someone on Brooklyn’s bench must have instigated it:

It will be interesting to see if what was said to get Middleton angry is ever revealed because, as mentioned, it is not like him to get into it with an opposing team.
It must have been pretty bad.
