The Milwaukee Bucks during the offseason traded Jrue Holiday in a three-team trade to the Portland Trail Blazers. In that trade, Milwaukee acquired Damian Lillard and the other team involved in that deal was the Phoenix Suns.
After that trade was completed, Portland was able to trade Holiday to the Boston Celtics and it appeared to be a trade that might be able to help Boston win an NBA Championship. In Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks, Jrue Holiday led the Celtics in scoring with 26 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal in a 105-98 win.

The Boston Celtics are two wins away from winning its first NBA title since the 2007-2008 season. Holiday has played well for Boston in the entire postseason. In Game 2, he shot 78.6% from the field and also shot 50% from three.
Milwaukee Bucks Fans Respond To Another Jrue Holiday Masterpiece in the NBA Finals

Holiday was one of the reasons why the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Finals in 2020-2021. He was the perfect complimentary piece to Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Jrue Holiday is the perfect point guard to complement Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
With the way he has performed throughout the NBA Playoffs, it left Bucks fans wondering if they made a mistake letting him go for Damian Lillard. This is what some of the fans had to say on Twitter:
When you look up winner in the dictionary, there’s a picture of Jrue Holiday.
Giannis chose wrong.

The Bucks traded a cherry for a sundae. The Celtics took that cherry and put it on top of the sundae they already had. Doesn’t make the Bucks’ trade bad. https://t.co/IfYXKrYKBS

Jrue Holiday was the missing piece for the Bucks and now he’s doing the same thing for Celtics. He has been the best player on both ends of the floor tonight. That’s why the Celtics paid him the big bucks

These were some interesting reactions to Jrue Holiday’s performance for the Boston Celtics on Sunday. Did the Bucks choose wrong? It looks like it in the short term.

What the Bucks can’t control is that Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard both got hurt at the end of the season. They both missed games against the Indiana Pacers this postseason.
