Jrue Holiday has already come out with his official statement after the Milwaukee Bucks traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers as part of the earth-shattering Damian Lillard deal. The two-time All-Star penned an emotional farewell letter addressed to the fans as he showed them his appreciation for their unwavering support through the years.
For their part, the Bucks took to social media to send their own farewell for Jrue.
Milwaukee Bucks Bid Farewell to Jrue Holiday

In a 31-second clip posted on Twitter on Wednesday, the team thanked Holiday for his three years of service. The video featured some of his most memorable moments with the team, inclduing the key role he played in Milwaukee’s 2021 title run.

To be perfectly honest, if you didn’t feel all sorts of emotions after watching that video, then you’re probably not a true Milwaukee Bucks fans.

Wherever he ends up landing, Holiday will still likely return to play in Milwaukee this season, albeit with a different team. You can be sure that that will be an emotional homecoming for him, and we expect an even more heartwarming tribute video form the team.
Milwaukee Bucks Also Say Goodbye to Grayson Allen
While he might not be as valuable as Holiday, losing Grayson Allen is also a considerable blow for Milwaukee. The 27-year-old shooting guard has been with the team over the past couple of seasons, and he too deserves a thank you message from the organization:

It’s not easy bidding farewell to two key players on the squad. However, the fact that the Bucks now have Damian Lillard will defintiely soften the blow.
