The Milwaukee Bucks did not exactly make any landscape-shifting moves before the NBA trade deadline. However, they did bring in Patrick Beverley in what is without a doubt their most significant mid-season transaction.
As it turns out, however, the Bucks aren’t done just yet.
Milwaukee Bucks Sign Australian Youngster Jaylin Galloway
The Bucks have decided to go halfway across the world to make their newest signing. This comes in the form of 21-year-old forward Jaylin Galloway, who Milwaukee has officially announced as their latest roster addition:

As the above tweet indicates, Galloway has put pen to paper on a two-way deal with the Bucks. This means that he will likely spend most of his time with the team’s NBA G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, as a reserve player for the Bucks.
Galloway made his mark on professional basketball in Australia where he suited up for the Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League. According to an official press release published on NBA.com, Galloway was one of the finalists of this past season’s NBL Most Improved Player Award. This is after the young man doubled his scoring average from the previous campaign.
In 23 games this past season, Galloway produced averages of 10.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per contest.
Galloway isn’t expected to make a significant impact on the squad this season, but the Bucks adding youth talent to their roster is definitely a step in the right direction.
