The Milwaukee Bucks are not in a good place in the standings, nor are they necessarily in a good place in regard to their organization. At 17-23, they are currently outside of the Eastern Conference playoff picture, and their 139-106 loss to a Minnesota Timberwolves team without two of its best players seems to indicate things are not going to get better any time soon.
And while two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has explicitly stated that he will never ask for a trade away from Milwaukee, his booing back at Bucks fans who first booed the team would seem to indicate that things are not going well in that respect either.
Of course, there are many fans who would love to see if the problems facing the team can be fixed by firing head coach Doc Rivers, but the Bucks organization has shown no indication that they are anywhere close to doing that.
And now, with all this negativity already in place, Giannis has popped up on the injury report again.
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is back on the injury report
Giannis scored 25 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out five assists in 31 minutes in Milwaukee’s loss to Minnesota. He also committed seven turnovers.
On Thursday, the Bucks travel to take on the San Antonio Spurs, and have released their injury report for that game. Giannis is listed with a sprained ankle:

As one can see from the post above, Giannis is probable to play, which would indicate that it is a very minor sprain. That being said, regardless of how small the injury may be, Rivers likely is not going to let up much, if at all, on the minutes restriction he currently has in place for Milwaukee’s star player.
It is also noteworthy that Myles Turner, who missed the game against Minnesota with an illness, is not listed on the reporter.
Neither is Pete Nance, who was made available for the game against the Timberwolves after previously being listed as out due to his being on a two-way contract.
