The Milwaukee Bucks entering Tuesday night were tied for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with the Indiana Pacers. Milwaukee had a road matchup with the Houston Rockets.

One of the biggest concerns on Tuesday night for the Bucks against the Rockets was rebounding the basketball. Milwaukee was outrebounded against Houston 53-37 and the Milwaukee Bucks lost the game to the Houston Rockets by a final score of 100-97. With the loss for Milwaukee, they dropped to 32-25 on the year. As for Houston, they improved to 36-22 on the year.

When teams get outrebounded in the NBA by a large margin, it is very rare for them to win games. This happened to the Bucks on Tuesday night. It was a major issue for them and this was not the first time this season it occurred. This is what some of the Bucks fans had to say about it on Twitter:

some of the worst rebounding i think i’ve ever seen from us. those points shouldn’t even class as 2nd chance points man they were 14th chance points with the amount of offensive boards they had on us. that’s simply what lost us the game.

    — Mo  (@AraujoGOAT) February 26, 2025

Would have won by 10 points if we knew how to rebound

    — SHADY (@ateet09) February 26, 2025

Hard to win games when you can’t rebound. Still put up a strong fight. Bounce back next game!

    — Shiftologist (@TheShiftologist) February 26, 2025

Not just short, but woefully lacking in terms of rebounds. Got a measly FOUR offensive rebounds vs the Rockets’ 16. A total of only 37 rebounds vs the Rockets’ 53. Can’t win with that kind of rebounding.

    — I Hate Fake News (@TrollHater11) February 26, 2025

Terrible Rebounding, CTE Brook Lopez so basically normal, Terrible dame game, Giannis was literally playing 1 v 5 in the last few minutes lol

    — Marjon Solos 🦌 (@Marjon_Solos) February 26, 2025

If they had Bobby Portis for this game, it would have helped on the glass for sure. No matter who is available for them or not, the Bucks have to rebound and stop ball watching.

Four different players scored in double figures for the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 27 points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds, recorded six assists, blocked one shot, and recorded one steal. Antetokounmpo has looked good for them ever since returning from injury.

Damian Lillard scored 22 points. He also grabbed one rebound and recorded three assists. Brook Lopez and AJ Green each scored 12 points for Milwaukee against the Houston Rockets. For now, the Bucks are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. Milwaukee is trailing the Indiana Pacers by 0.5 games and leads the Detroit Pistons by 0.5 games. As for the Rockets, they are currently the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
