Last week the Bucks had back-to-back games in Los Angeles against the Lakers and the Clippers. They won both contests extending their current winning streak to 10 games.

With their win over the Clippers, the Bucks also upped their record this season to 6-1 in games played with no rest (the second game of back-to-back games). That is the second-best record in the league behind the Boston Celtics who are 7-1 in no rest games this season.

NBA teams usually play under .500 in no rest games

NBA teams typically do not play well on the second of two consecutive games. In fact, this season NBA teams are a combined 127-154, a .452 winning percentage, in games with no rest.

The Bucks have played well in no rest games over the past several seasons. They have had a winning record (above .500 winning percentage) in no rest games in five straight seasons and will likely make it a sixth straight season this year. They are currently 6-1 with six no rest games left on their schedule.

Milwaukee Bucks have the NBA’s best no rest record in last four seasons

Milwaukee also has the best no rest record of all NBA teams over the past four seasons. They are 31-15 in no rest games (.674 winning percentage). The Philadelphia 76ers are second in this stat with a 28-16 (.636) record in no rest games since the 2019-20 season.

Here is a look at the 13 NBA teams that have a winning record in no rest games the last four seasons.

    Milwaukee: .31-15 .674
    Philadelphia: 28-16 .636
    Phoenix: 32-20 .615
    Boston: 27-21 .563
    Indiana: 29-23 .558
    L.A. Lakers: 24-19 .558
    Denver: 24-21 .533
    Utah: 26-23 .531
    L.A. Clippers: 26-23 .531
    Memphis: 26-23 .531
    Miami: 24-23 .511
    New York Knicks: 23-22 .511
    Chicago: 27-26 .509

The two teams with the worst no rest records in the league since 2019-20 are the Orlando Magic at 11-40 (.216) and Houston Rockets at 10-36 (.217).
