Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo did not do much actual participation in this past NBA All-Star weekend. Despite being a captain due to receiving the most fan votes in the Eastern Conference, Giannis played less than a minute and scored two points due to the sprained wrist he suffered against the Chicago Bulls. His two points were scored on a less-than-thunderous dunk, obviously thrown down with care to protect his injured wrist.
He also did not participate in the NBA Skills competition with his bothers Thanasis and Alex on Saturday night. Jrue Holiday took his place. Following the All-Star Game, ESPN’s Tim Bontemps tweeted out a report that had Bucks fans concerned about the seven-time All-Star.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Needs More Tests Done on His Wrist
Following the game, this Tweet from Bontemps started making the rounds on social media:
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will travel to New York Monday to undergo further testing on his injured right wrist, sources told ESPN.

After Giannis initially hurt his wrist, he did have a x-ray done, which revealed it is not broken. While he did have it taped up for the beginning of the All-Star Game, he was not seen wearing any other protective brace on it during the rest of the festivities. In fact, he was seen carrying his toddlers with his injured hand earlier in the weekend:

It also didn’t keep him from taking on that darned ladder in a rematch:
