According to Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks is now Damian Lillard’s team. The former back-to-back MVP made this stunning declaration on the eve of Dame’s debut as Antetokoumnpo’s new partner-in-crime.
The general belief is that the Bucks brought Lillard in to be the Robin to Giannis’ Batman, but it appears that Bruce Wayne himself has other ideas in mind.

Speaking to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report during a recent interview, Giannis unequivocally said that the Bucks are now Lillard’s team:
“I believe in him. Basically, I might be here but this is his team,” Antetokounmpo declared.
This is huge coming from the Bucks talisman himself. Obviously, Antetokounmpo wants to do everything in his power to see to it that Lillard is able to succeed in Milwaukee. It is clear that Giannis is willing to do whatever’s in his power to make sure that this becomes a reality — even if it requires a major sacrifice from his end.
NBA Fans Aren’t Buying It
It’s almost heroic to hear Antetokounmpo utter these words even before Lillard has had a chance to play a single minute in a Bucks jersey. In fact, it sounds a little bit like it’s too good to be true. The fans on Twitter seem to believe so:
