The Milwaukee Bucks are looking for their fifth straight win on Monday against the Washington Wizards. Throughout this recent win streak, the superstar pairing of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard has been the dominant force that everyone expected them to be the moment the Bucks pulled the trigger on that blockbuster trade this past offseason.
At this point, there’s no denying that these two are beginning to get used to playing alongside each other.
Milwaukee Bucks Coach Adrian Griffin Sends Bold Warning
Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin could not agree more. The first-year shot-caller spoke to the press after Saturday’s victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Coach Griff had nothing but praise for Giannis and Lillard, who combined for 67 points to take down Luka Doncic and Co.:
“I think every game they’re getting more comfortable with each other, and trusting each other,” Griffin said. “They’re so dynamic out there. It is scary. I think they’re going to get better and better and it’s going to be even more frightening for opponents when they really start figuring out on a consistent basis. You see them, they’re building chemistry. I’ve said this from Day 1 — it takes time to build chemistry and the cohesiveness together. The only way around it is to play and be on the floor with each other. It’s still early but they’re going to figure it out. They’ve been figuring it out. They’re two high-character guys that want to win and they showed that (against the Mavs).”

As Griffin implied, these two haven’t reached their final form just yet. Giannis and Dame are still getting used to playing with each other, and they have been taking significant strides of late.
As Griffin also said, the rest of the NBA better be ready once these two superstars finally get on the same page.
