“It Should Be Noted”: Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo Only Non-Warriors Player To Show Up To Steph Curry’s Party During All-Star Weekend (Report)

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was a representative for the Eastern Conference All-Stars during the 2024-2025 NBA season. Antetokounmpo participated in the all-star game and the game was played at the Chase Center, which is the home of the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State could be a team that could be in play for the superstar once their season concludes. The Warriors currently trail the Minnesota Timberwolves 3-1 in the series in the Western Conference semifinals. Steph Curry currently has a hamstring injury for the Warriors, and they have not been the same team without him. The Warriors traded for Jimmy Butler before the NBA trade deadline from the Miami Heat. Can Golden State make a move for Giannis after the season?

There are a lot of places that Antetokounmpo can go to next season if he leaves the Bucks. It is more likely that he would leave Milwaukee for a Western Conference team. The Warriors could be a team that could enter the Giannis sweepstakes this offseason. Sam Amick of The Athletic reported as to why Golden State can’t be counted out in the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes,

“Giannis and Steph, it should be noted, are both represented by the same Octagon agency. Still, it was a Warriors-centric event with one notable, and very large, exception.”

Giannis was also the only non-Warriors player to have attended Curry’s party in San Francisco during NBA All-Star Weekend. With this being the case with both players being represented by the same agency, it could get very interesting.

Golden State could have some interesting pieces to offer Milwaukee, but they may not have the draft capital to do so. Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody could be two players that Golden State may be able to part with and maybe also Buddy Hield. Despite a possible Antetokounmpo and Curry duo together, the Warriors fanbase should not get there hopes up for the Bucks superstar.

If Antetokoumpo is not with Milwaukee next season, he may not be with Golden State either. The San Antonio Spurs or the Houston Rockets may feel like the two best destinations for him and the Bucks to get something back in a trade. The Brooklyn Nets and the Oklahoma City Thunder will also be serious players for him. The Warriors are not afraid to make star player moves, but the Warriors maybe closer to a rebuild with Curry rather than being a title contender also.
