Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the brink of signing the biggest contract in NBA history. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar will be eligible for a new contract this summer, but if he waits another year, Giannis can sign a max extension next year that will make him the highest-paid basketball player in league history.
Be that as it may, it is clear that Giannis is still looking to further increase his fortune — even after his NBA career.

The cameras of TMZ Sports recently caught up with Antetokounmpo, and he was asked a very intriguing question. In fact, Giannis himself was so captivated by the query that he had to stop what he was doing to talk to the interviewer:
When asked if he would ever consider a move to Saudi Arabia once his career in the NBA was done, Giannis simply said, “Of course.” He then followed it up with a statement saying that it would require “a lot of money” for him to take his talents to the Middle East.
Finally, the Bucks talisman put a bit of context on his statement by explaining how he would also want to look after the NBA if the Saudis were serious about poaching him:
“If the NBA worked out, maybe like a trade between the NBA and Saudi Arabia League, I’m there,” Antetokounmpo said.

For those that require context, Giannis’ come-get-me-plea to Saudi Arabia comes after football club Al Hilal tried and failed to recruit PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe to their squad for a mind-blowing $1.1 billion. Antetokounmpo himself caught wind of the potential move and even asked Al Hilal to consider him instead:
Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe 😂😂👀 pic.twitter.com/VH0syez3VX

After Mbappe rejected the billion-dollar move, Al Hilal moved on to his PSG teammate, Neymar, who was more than happy to take the money to move to Saudi Arabia. Giannis came out with another hint at his desire to join the Saudi club after Neymar agreed to a deal with Al Hilal:

Bucks fans need not worry at this point, though, because Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. I think.
