Giannis and Co. open their season with a mouth-watering matchup against reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on October 26th. They also get to host the Miami Heat, the team that eliminated them in the first round of the playoffs last season, twice on October 30th, and again on February 13th. Their second matchup against the Heat will succeed a contest against the defending champs Denver Nuggets on February 12th.
For the sixth year running, the Bucks will play on Christmas Day as they battle the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden.
Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers Still Reign Supreme
While the Bucks will get a fair amount of nationally televised games this coming season, it’s still Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors who reign supreme with 41 games being broadcast nationally. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are not far behind with 40 nationally televised matchups.
The Phoenix Suns and their newly-formed Big 3 will have 37, while the defending champs Denver Nuggets are tied with the Bucks for the fourth-most nationally-televised contests at 30.
The Toronto Raptors rank dead last on the list with only three games that are on the national TV docket. The Charlotte Hornets, the Houston Rockets, and the Washington Wizards all have four games scheduled for national TV broadcast.
