There’s no denying that Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant players not only in the game today, but throughout the history of the sport.
If you feel that this is an overestimation of the Greek Freak’s talents, then perhaps one particular stat could convince you otherwise.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Reigns Supreme

As reported by Bally Sports Wisconsin on Twitter, Giannis currently holds the record for the most points per game for a player who has shot over 60.0 percent from the field. Right now, Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.9 points on a career-best 60.7 percent shooting.
The numbers don’t lie:

Before anything else, we also have to give a special shoutout to New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson, who made two appearances on the above list. You also have to note that these are numbers for an entire season, which speaks volumes of Zion’s consistency.

Giannis, on the other hand, is working on a small sample size. He’s played only 19 games this season thus far, which one might argue may have inflated his numbers a bit. After all, the former back-to-back MVP has not shot over 60 percent from the field in his entire career.

Be that as it may, it’s hard to downplay this statistical fact, especially considering how he’s surpassed a couple of all-time greats in Kevin McHale and Charles Barkley.
The question now, though, is if Antetokounmpo can keep this pace up for the rest of the season. If he is somehow able to do so, then it would not be a complete surprise if he bags this third MVP title at the end of the season, and perhaps even a second championship for the Bucks.
