There’s not really much you can take away from losing by 40 points. This was exactly the case for the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night as they got themselves embarrassed at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers, 135-95.
Some Milwaukee fans, however, have chosen to see the silver lining in all this. For these supporters, this blowout loss only proves how Giannis Antetokounmpo should be the frontrunner for this season’s MVP crown.
Milwaukee Bucks Rule Out Giannis Vs. Cavs
In an unexpected turn of events, Giannis was unable to suit up for Wednesday’s clash. This was after the former back-to-back MVP’s shoulder acted up during shootaround. This is the same shoulder that had Antetokounmpo questionable to play on Sunday against the Sacramento Kings, but the fact that he was able to log a triple-double in that game made it seem like the shoulder was not a problem.
This wasn’t the case on Wednesday, though, with Giannis himself deciding that he couldn’t go. Unfortunately for the Bucks, they struggled mightily without their talisman in the mix.
Giannis is MVP
According to more than a few fans out there, the fact that the now 28-13 Bucks proved no match to a shorthanded Cavs side is living proof of how much Giannis does for this team. The Bucks looked like a deer caught in the headlights of Cleveland’s unstoppable onslaught.
The supporters believe that this is going to be Antetokounmpo’s strongest claim for the MVP title:

After seeing the Bucks get their behinds whooped without the former two-time MVP, you can’t really say that these fans don’t have a point.
