The Milwaukee Bucks have not had the most promising start to the 2024-2025 NBA season. Milwaukee is 1-6 this season and they will also be facing the 1-6 Utah Jazz at home on Thursday night. Tip-off for this matchup will be at 7 p.m. CT.
Utah is a team that is trying to tank for Cooper Flagg in the 2025 NBA Draft and Milwaukee is trying to get themselves out of the basement in the Eastern Conference. It already has been bad enough this season for the Bucks but just imagine if they were to lose to the Jazz on Thursday night.
Projected Starting Lineups Between the Utah Jazz and the Milwaukee Bucks
The projected starting lineup for the Jazz on Thursday night will be Walker Kessler, Lauri Markkanen (game-time decision), Cody Williams, Collin Sexton, and Keyonte George. The Bucks projected starting lineup on Thursday night will be Brook Lopez, Giannis Antetokounmpo (game-time decision), Tauren Prince, Gary Trent Jr., and Damian Lillard.
Antetokounmpo did not play on Monday night against Cleveland Cavaliers and it will be interesting to see if he does suit up on Thursday night against Utah. Khris Middleton will be out once again for the Milwaukee Bucks and he has not played in a game this season.
Doc Rivers Thinks They’ll Be Fine
Even with the Bucks slow start, head coach Doc Rivers thinks that they will be fine and find a way to make the playoffs. Well if they don’t beat the Jazz on Thursday night, the fanbase will not be sold about his words in trying to make the playoffs this season.
It would be a bad look if they lost to Will Hardy’s team on Thursday night. The Jazz have no intentions of making the playoffs this season and it would feel rock bottom for the Bucks if they lost this game.
