The (2-8) Milwaukee Bucks will play today at 7 p.m. against the (2-9) Toronto Raptors. Both teams have the two worst records in the NBA.
The Bucks are coming off a 113-107 loss on Sunday against the Boston Celtics. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a remarkable performance by having 43 points and 13 rebounds while Damian Lillard only had 14 points on 4/15 FG. Milwaukee is on a two-game losing streak.
The Raptors playing against the Lakers on Sunday
The Raptors are coming off a 123-103 loss on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Immanuel Quickley had 12 points, one rebound and four assists in 27 minutes as he was able to play in the second leg of the back-to-back. Toronto is on a four-game losing streak.
Shooting guard Gary Trent Jr, point guard Damian Lillard and small forward Khris Middleton are all out for the Bucks. This game will require Ryan Rollins or Delon Wright at the point guard position.
Giannis having to carry much of the load for Milwaukee with Dame not playing
Though underwhelming this season, the Bucks have Giannis Antetokounmpo’s explosive scoring against a struggling Toronto defense that lacks stability-especially around the rim. Milwaukee holds the advantage of rebounding and depth without Damian Lillard, which will be big for them in dictating the pace of the game.
Damian Lillard sustained the concussion in the Bucks’ loss to the Celtics on Sunday after taking a hit to the head. He could be cleared to return to action on Wednesday vs. the Pistons.
