The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off a horrendous loss on Saturday afternoon against the Charlotte Hornets on the road. On Monday, they will look to turn the page at home against a surging Houston Rockets basketball team. The tip-off for this basketball game will be at 7 p.m. CT.
This season, Milwaukee has a 4-9 record and is one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference. As for Houston, they have a 10-4 record so far this season and are one of the top teams in the Western Conference. The Rockets are a team that could contend for the Western Conference Title this season.
Projected Starting Lineups Between the Houston Rockets and the Milwaukee Bucks
Toward the end of last season, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka had his team turning a corner despite missing the playoffs. The end of last season for Houston was no fluke. The projected starting lineup for the Houston Rockets will be Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith, Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green, and Fred VanVleet.
The projected starting lineup for the Milwaukee Bucks will be Brook Lopez, Giannis Antetokounmpo (game-time decision), Tauren Prince, Andre Jackson, and Damian Lillard (game-time decision). Doc Rivers’s team needs a win against a quality opponent.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard Rumored In Trade Talks With the Rockets
Over the last week or so, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard’s names have appeared in trade talks with the Houston Rockets. Houston is looking to make a splash at some point during the 2024-2025 NBA season. In the past, they wanted to trade for Kevin Durant but they failed to acquire him.
Will the Rockets this time around trade for Antetokounmpo or Lillard? It remains to be seen. For now, Houston is building a very good basketball team through drafting and free agency. The Houston Rockets would have to give up a lot if they were to get either Giannis Antetokounmpo or Damian Lillard. It could be intriguing to see Houston take a swing for a star player later this season even if they weren’t able to land one of them.
