The Milwaukee Bucks will have another home game on Friday against the Indiana Pacers. Tip-off for that matchup will be at 7 p.m. CT. This game will also feature another game for the NBA in-season tournament.
This season, both Indiana and Milwaukee are 6-9. The Bucks have shown improvement over the last several games and the Pacers have felt like a disappointment after making it to the Eastern Conference Finals last season.
Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks Met In the First-Round Last Season
A season ago, the Pacers were the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and the Bucks were the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Giannis Antetokounmpo did not play at all in that series due to a calf injury and Damian Lillard missed a couple of games due to injury. It also felt like Indiana had Milwaukee’s number all year long last season.
Hopefully, things could change for the Bucks against the Pacers this season. Tyrese Haliburton was the best player for Indiana against Milwaukee last season.
Projected Starting Lineups
On Friday, the projected starting lineup for the Indiana Pacers and Rick Carlisle’s squad is Myles Turner, Pascal Siakam, Bennedict Mathurin, Ben Sheppard, and Tyrese Haliburton. Indiana’s offense is very lethal and Milwaukee’s defense will need to be on point in this game.
The projected starting lineup for the Milwaukee Bucks and Doc Rivers’s squad is Brook Lopez, Giannis Antetokounmpo (game-time decision), Tauren Prince, Andre Jackson, and Damian Lillard. The Bucks are looking to win its fifth game in the last six games played and the Pacers are looking to be in the heads of the Bucks.
