It has been nearly five full decades since the last time the Milwaukee Bucks sent three players to the All-Star Game in a single season. That was during the 1974-75 campaign when Kareem, Bob Dandridge, and Jim Price each got an All-Star nod. Since then, the Bucks have had 11 seasons where they had two players getting named All-Stars, but never three or more.
Could that drought end in the coming 2024-25 NBA season? That’s the question posed by the X account of Bucks Lead.
The Bucks have had 3 All-Stars in the same season just once in franchise history (Kareem, Bob Dandridge, Jim Price in 1974-75). Could it happen this season? 👀

The Bucks have a nice streak going on, as two Milwaukee players have been named to the All-Star Game in each of the last three seasons. Last season, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard got the nods. At this point of his career, Antetokounmpo appears to be a shoo-in for the All-Star, barring an injury or anything serious that could hinder his season.
Lillard has been an All-Star eight times. At 34 years old, there might further drop in his game next season, but he’s still among the best guards in the league. Meanwhile, Khris Middleton is a three-time All-Star who’s not been to the midseason exhibition game in the last two campaigns. A healthy and strong bounce-back season from him could lead him back to All-Star status. All-Star long shots on the team are the likes of Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis.
