The Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Toronto Raptors 130-111 on Wednesday night, and this was the first time that Adrian Griffin was going back to Toronto as a head coach. Griffin was an assistant coach with the Raptors organization before becoming the Bucks head coach during the offseason after Mike Budenholzer was fired. He received a video tribute from the Raptors on Wednesday night.

With the loss, Milwaukee fell to 2-2 on the year, and Toronto improved to 2-3 on the year. The Bucks were trailing the Toronto Raptors 66-44 at halftime, and there are nights in the NBA where that will happen. It is hard to win every single game in the NBA.
However, the Bucks have the 29th-ranked defense in the NBA so far this season. Some fans are already complaining on social media about Griffin as head coach just four games into the NBA regular season, and there are still 78 games to go this season, plus playoffs.
Milwaukee Bucks Fans Had Some Interesting Things to Say About Adrian Griffin on Twitter on Wednesday Night
Milwaukee had a rough Wednesday night on the road against Toronto, but remember, this is a head coach who is just getting his feet wet. Bucks fans had no issues giving him slack, however. This is what some of them had to say about how he did on Wednesday:
Adrian griffin got Giannis and Dame and turned them into Grayson Allen and Mitchell Robinson I’m out💀👋🏽pic.twitter.com/2LgtXq6e1O

Nba fans told me coach bud (elite mind) was the reason Milwaukee underachieved last year. Shocker they also that adrian griffin was the savior 😂 😂

I think it’s fair to say that Adrian Griffin does not know how to use Brook Lopez
— BrookLopezFanClub🏆 (@ClubBrook) November 2, 2023
These were some interesting tweets by the Milwaukee Bucks fanbase on Wednesday night about Griffin. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 16 points, and Damian Lillard scored 15 points for Milwaukee. Malik Beasley was their leading scorer with 20 points.
The Bucks will not win many games with Beasley as the season’s leading scorer. Khris Middleton only scored 11 points, and Brook Lopez only scored six points. The Bucks’s next game will be against the 2-3 New York Knicks on Friday night, which begins the NBA in-season tournament, and hopefully, Griffin’s squad will start playing better defense as well.
