Milwaukee Bucks star point guard Damian Lillard is one of the greatest players of all time. After all, he is part of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team. But when it comes to team success, he doesn’t have much to show for it. He’s never won an NBA championship and he’s yet to play in the NBA Finals.
Former NBA champion and ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins brought up the point recently and issued some sort of challenge to Lillard to win an NBA ring.
“It’s time for [Damian Lillard] to rise to the occasion,” Perkins said.
“When you have a guy like Giannis Antetokounmpo, just making it to the playoffs or the Conference Finals is not enough… We got to keep that same energy with [him].”

Lillard still has a good chance of finally winning an NBA title, especially since he remains in the Bucks’ fold. With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Lillard, the Bucks have a championship-caliber 1-2 punch that they hope will deliver them an NBA title in 2025.
