Milwaukee Bucks news: With the 2024 NBA Draft fast approaching, teams from around the NBA are already finalizing their blueprint for what could be a monumental moment for their respective franchises. The same can be said for the Bucks, who have some holes to fill on their roster ahead of the new season.
Milwaukee is in possession of two draft picks, with one in each of the two rounds. The focus of attention for today is the No. 33 overall pick, which according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, should be used to scoop up Terrence Shannon Jr. of Illinois.
Milwaukee Bucks Urged to Consider Terrence Shannon Jr. at No. 33

In ClutchPoints’ latest mock draft, Siegel has the Bucks going for the controversial shooting guard at the No. 33 spot. The main argument here is that Milwaukee will be able to add a potent scorer coming off the bench:
“Shannon is an athletic shooting guard who has a similar style of play to that of Kelly Oubre Jr, in terms of getting to the paint from the perimeter. The Bucks need a scorer who can create shots for themselves in their second unit, hence why Shannon would be a value pick for them in this spot from a talent perspective,” Siegel wrote.

The thing about Shannon is that he is currently facing sexual assault charges. Nothing has been proven yet, but he is set to face trial for felony rape on June 10. The outcome of that trial will without a doubt have a significant impact not only on his draft stock but also on his future in the NBA.
The Bucks are likely among the teams that will be monitoring this situation closely.
