The Milwaukee Bucks have been eyeing a number of prospects ahead of the 2024 NBA Draft. The Bucks have possession of the No. 23 and No. 33 picks, with their first-rounder, in particular, expected to make a significant impact on the team’s roster for the upcoming season.
One player who has been linked to Milwaukee as a potential draftee is Alabama star Mark Sears. As it turns out, however, the Bucks will need to look elsewhere after the 6-foot-1 guard made a major announcement on his future on Wednesday night.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Draft Prospect Mark Sears to Return to Alabama
Crimson Tide fans have been waiting on news from Sears as the deadline to withdraw from the NBA Draft approached. The day of reckoning finally came on Wednesday and true enough, Sears made the decision to run it back with Alabama for one final year:

Sears, who averaged 21.5 points on 50.8 percent shooting, 4.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game last season, has now decided to return to Alabama for a fifth and final year. The 22-year-old will officially withdraw from the draft as he looks to improve his stock for next year.
For their part, the Bucks were urged to consider Sears as a potential Patrick Beverley replacement should the feisty veteran decide to leave Milwaukee in NBA free agency. There is no guarantee that Pat Bev will be jumping ship, but either way, the Bucks will now need to look elsewhere to fill their backcourt needs this offseason.
