The Milwaukee Bucks lost Game 1 against the Indiana Pacers 117-98. Milwaukee trails in the series against Indiana 1-0.

Game 2 of the series will be on Tuesday night with tipoff scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on NBA TV. Damian Lillard will be questionable for Game 2 for Milwaukee. Head coach Doc Rivers has spoken to the media several times about different topics in between Game 1 and Game 2.
Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach Doc Rivers Talks About Indiana Pacers Star Tyrese Haliburton Before Game 2

After the Bucks dropped the first game of the series against the Pacers, Rivers knew that once again, the Pacers star point guard Tyrese Haliburton had an impact on the game. He scored 10 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and recorded 12 assists in Game 1. A lot of Bucks fans remember the damage that he also did during the 2024 postseason.
After the Bucks loss, Rivers said to the media,
“He’s an interesting kid, because he’s more than just a scorer. On the nights that he sees that they’re taking stuff away, he’s smart enough to feel that and just make plays for his teammates. I thought he was very happy doing that. But he’s a point guard. And I thought he had a hell of a game personally, even though he didn’t score. He still got everybody involved, and that’s just as dangerous.”
There is no doubt that Haliburton is going to make another impact in Game 2 for Indiana. In Game 1, he had a plus/minus rating of +27 and his teammate Pascal Siakam had a plus/minus rating of +28. There is a chance that he may score more in Game 2 and not pass the ball as much.
Haliburton has been hard to guard for the Bucks for so many different reasons. If Milwaukee is going to win on the road in Game 2, they are going to have to defend him better than they have been. The Bucks have lost their last four playoff games on the road against the Pacers.
