The Milwaukee Bucks are the NBA Cup champions, who came back from a precarious 1-6 beginning of the season with a convincing victory 97-81 over Oklahoma City Thunder. The victory in Las Vegas was the biggest turnaround this season so far as the Bucks have won 14 out of their last 20 games and improved their record to 14-11.
The Bucks also connected on 17 three-pointers, as well, in completing the unblemished run and becoming the second in-season tournament champions to the Los Angeles Lakers. It was a first NBA Cup championship in franchise history for the Bucks, netting each member of the team around $515,000.

Bucks point guard Damian Lillard had 23 points on 6/12 FG with four rebounds and four assists. He played a vital role in the win of the Milwaukee Bucks NBA Cup Championship.
Damian Lillard averaged 27.3 PPG on 48.5 FG%, to go along with 4 RPG and 8.3 APG in the NBA Cup this season, outperformed Shai Gilgeous Alexander in the final yesterday. He had scored 37 points and gave 12 assists against the Miami Heat on Nov. 26, 2024.
