There’s no denying that the Milwaukee Bucks are a much better team now compared to how they started the season. A clear testament to this fact is how they are now just two wins away from becoming the first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament champions.
If you ask Damian Lillard, however, he is adamant that the Bucks have barely scratched the surface.

While he has already shown vast improvements since his relatively rough start to the campaign, Lillard has made it abundantly clear that on a personal level, he has yet to come close to his final form:
“Right now I’m not even making my three,” Lillard said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “Like, bro, the scariest thing is that we’re (15-6) right now, and we’re trying to figure it all out. And I haven’t even gotten started, bro. I promise you.”
This would have sounded like a bit of an overestimation from anybody else, but this is Damian Lillard we’re talking about here. We’ve all seen what this man is capable of during his time with the Portland Trail Blazers, and if he is able to reach that same heights — which he certainly plans on doing in the not-so-distant future — then the rest of the league has to be terrified.
