Milwaukee Bucks news: Damian Lillard is without a doubt one of the most esteemed point guards in the history of the game. This dude has a glowing resume, which includes a Rookie of the Year trophy, seven All-Star appearances, seven call-ups to the All-NBA team, and of course, a spot in the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
At this point, it’s probably safe to say that Dame is going to be in the Hall of Fame once it’s all said and done for him.
Damian Lillard Has a Point to Prove With Milwaukee Bucks

In spite of all the accolades he’s collected in his 11 years in the NBA, there is still one glaring hole in Lillard’s trophy cabinet. He knows it. The fans know it. The Milwaukee Bucks know it.
“I think I just gotta prove that I can be a champion,” Lillard told Melissa Rohlin FOX Sports. “You know, be out front for a championship team. And that’s it. I don’t think I have to prove it. I just think that’s what’s left to prove.”
This is also exactly why the Bucks brought Dame in this summer. Giannis Antetokounmpo is starving to get his second career championship, and Lillard is supposed to be the man who helps the former back-to-back MVP achieve his ultimate objective in Milwaukee.
Lillard, of all people, knows that this is the case — and he’s not shying away from the pressure.
Dame Wants It Bad

At this point, the Bucks are considered one of the favorites to go all the way this year. However, Dame also knows that this is all on paper. They haven’t proved anything. In fact, they haven’t even played a single minute of regular-season basketball.
Lillard is not denying the fact that it’s going to be an uphill battle ahead for him and the Bucks:
“We know this is not going to be an easy thing,” Lillard told FOX Sports. “We know this is going to take some work. We’ve got to get sh– done. I think that’s what [Antetokounmpo and I] both feel.”

Be that as it may, it appears that it’s Dame’s incessant desire to get that chip that will drive him to do anything and everything he can to help Milwaukee reach the pinnacle again.
“I’m proud of what my legacy would be with or without it,” he said. “But I want it bad.”
