The All-Star Game saw Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard emerge as the event’s MVP after leading the East to victory over the LeBron James-led West. After the game, though, Paolo Banchero was in search of the point guard to complete an awesome piece of memento.
During the first night of this year’s All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, home of the Indiana Pacers, Lillard showed off by winning the 3-Point Contest for the second year in a row. The Bucks star also combined with Mac McClung to become the most recent pair of players to win back-to-back-titles in their respective All-Star contests.
The following night, Lillard continued his hot streak by dropping 39 points, including 11 three-pointers, in the All-Star Game. His impressive performance helped the East win over the West with a score of 211-186.
For his effort, the Bucks’ starting point guard was named MVP, even though the home crowd expressed their disapproval of it. Also, Lillard also made history by becoming the first player since Michael Jordan to win titles on back-to-back nights of All-Star Weekend.

After the contest, several stars spoke to reporters about their experience playing in the All-Star Game. One of them was Paolo Banchero, and he had a good reason to look for Lillard in a video posted on X by the Orlando Magic’s official account:

It only makes sense for Banchero to want Lillard’s signature on his shoe after the Bucks star came out on top by winning MVP. With all the records he made this weekend, Lillard’s mark on the Orlando Magic forward’s shoe will definitely make it a lot more valuable.
