Milwaukee Bucks news: One of the most controversial aspects of the NBA In-Season Tournament is the extremely loud court designs. Let’s just say that it’s not for everyone.
Take for instance, Bucks star Damian Lillard.
Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Damian Lillard Keeps It Real
Heading into Wednesday’s do-or-die semifinal showdown against the Indiana Pacers, Lillard was asked to share his thoughts on how the IST has progressed thus far. Generally, Dame liked everything about the tournament — except for the courts:
“I would like to see better designs for the courts,” he said. “That’s one thing.”

While some fans might like the unconventional court designs, there are more than a few folks out there who do not. In fact, it wouldn’t be hard to find someone who has some pretty strong feelings about the same.
Either way, you can’t really say that the inaugural IST hasn’t been a success. It has drummed up a lot of attention in the league at this point in the season, which was one of the main objectives of this unprecedented initiative.
For their part, Lillard and the Bucks are one of the four remaining teams that are still contending for the NBA Cup. Milwaukee will battle the Pacers in the semifinal on Thursday, followed by an elimination game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans in the West.
If anything, the fact that the tournament is nearing its end means that the naysayers don’t have to bear the court design for much longer.
