The Milwaukee Bucks came into the 2023-24 season with two rookies on their roster. Andre Jackson Jr. has been making waves in his limited run thus far but for the most part, second-round pick Chris Livingston has been left on the outside looking in.
The Bucks have now decided to get Livingston some much-needed playing time by sending the 6-foot-6 small forward down to the NBA G League.
Milwaukee Bucks Send Chris Livingston to NBA G League
The Wisconsin Herd, Milwaukee’s G League affiliate team, announced on Wednesday that the Bucks had officially assigned Livingston to the G League:

This will be Livingston’s second stint with the Herd after the Bucks assigned him to their affiliate side earlier this month. Milwaukee recalled the 20-year-old back to the squad quickly, though, so perhaps he might have a longer and more significant stint with the Herd this time around.
Livingston Starting for Wisconsin Herd
For their part, the Herd are wasting no time getting Livingston going. He has been given the nod to start in Thursday’s game against the Motor City Cruise:

Livingston will now be joining the likes of Marques Bolden, TyTy Washington Jr., and Lindell Wigginton, all of whom are on two-way contracts with the Bucks, as part of the Herd’s starting five.
Livingston, a former Kentucky Wildcat, has made just two appearances for the Bucks this season so far. He’s averaged 2.5 points in 4.5 minutes of action.
