The Milwaukee Bucks already are going to see some changeover in the coaching staff. The team has moved on from Mike Budenholzer and now could see more change on the coaching staff. Bucks assistant Charles Lee is a finalist for the Pistons’ head coaching job.
Sources: The Detroit Pistons, including owner Tom Gores, will hold meetings this week with the finalists for their open head coaching job:

Milwaukee Bucks Assistant Charles Lee Going To The Detroit Pistons?
It isn’t a surprise that the Bucks’ coaching staff is drawing interest from other teams, especially in the division. Milwaukee has been one of the winningest franchises in the league over the past five years. Every good coaching staff has good assistants. Look at the struggles the Boston Celtics are having after Will Hardy left for the Utah Jazz. Good assistants help support the head coach in ways fans don’t even understand. However, in this case, would it really hurt the Bucks?

New Coaching Staff
In a vacuum, Lee is definitely a loss. However, a new head coach will be in Milwaukee next season. Usually, new regimes like to bring in their people. Even if Lee was not a finalist, there is still a chance he would not be on the Bucks next year. It isn’t uncommon for good coaches to be let go in favor of people that the new coach has worked with before. The hope is that the Bucks get the head coaching search right and can get a fresh new voice in the locker room.
I for one am pulling for Charles Lee to get the job. He has done a great job in Milwaukee and deserves his chance to coach his own team. Detroit has some tantalizing pieces and is primed for an upward swing. Bucks fans will continue to speculate on their own head coaching position until the position is filled.
