The Milwaukee Bucks have captured the heart of Wisconsin fans over the last few years. It all culminated in 2021 when Milwaukee beat the Phoenix Suns in six games to with their second NBA Championship.
Many fan favorites have been established over the last few years, and one decided to throw his name in the hat for the President of the United States.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Throws His Name In The Hat For President Of The United States
Bobby Portis (or as some like to call him Bobby Potus) took to Twitter (X) to throw his name in the hat for the 2024 elections:
VOTE ME BOBBY POTUS FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! #UNDERDOG
AND I APPROVE OF THIS MESSAGE
In his time with the Milwaukee Bucks, Bobby Portis has experienced both blessings and curses. In 2021, Portis played a crucial role in the Bucks’ title run and provided the energy that all contenders needed.
However, Portis can also be bullheaded and a ball hog, which can lead to problems for himself and the Bucks.That was most evident in his head smack of Andrew Nembhard in game four of Milwaukee’s first-round matchup with the Indiana Pacers, where he was ejected with Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo already out.
Portis has been at the center of trade rumors during the 2024 off-season. While he is certianly a fan favorite, it will be interesting to see if the Bucks continue to keep him around.
