Another one bites the dust in the Milwaukee Bucks line up as latest injury report revealed Damian Lillard is out for their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, their last one before the All-Star Weekend.

Lillard, who scored 78 points in their last two games, is declared out due to right hamstring soreness. He joins Giannis Antetokounmpo on the injured bay. That is around 57 points missing for the Bucks because of this development.
How is Doc Rivers going to address this problem? A major experiment on the line-up will happen.
The Athletic reporter Eric Nehm asked for Rivers’ thoughts about squad changes hours before tip off and the coach revealed that he will play Kyle Kuzma at no. 3 instead.

“Doc Rivers also mentioned that they haven’t played Kuzma much at the 3, but they plan on doing more of that tonight. Mentioned Lopez-Portis-Kuzma getting to play together,” Nehm wrote on X.
Kuzma is an instant contributor for the Bucks since arriving there on February 5. He has played three games so far and averages 15 points and seven rebounds.
Kyle Kuzma’s fit with Milwaukee Bucks
Doc Rivers appears high on Kuzma’s fit with the team ever since the trade happened.
Just recently, he spoke about the 29-year-old forward’s fit to the team despite him not seeing comprehensive practice with them.
Before the Wolves game, Rivers explained how versatile Kuzma can be and with Lillard out, he might see minutes guarding opponents’ best guards.

Been great. Been really good for us. Had a great possession the other night guarding Steph (Curry) and he’s doing a couple things we didn’t know (about). Definitely switchable, probably two through four, maybe one through four, most fives too. So, he’s been really good there for sure.
